Apprentice Ashley Baker honoured with JCB Engineering Excellence Award

Grenville Engineering congratulated one of its apprentices after receiving the JCB Compact Award for Engineering Excellence.

Ashley Baker accepted the award from Tony Fryer and Kevin Locke (NSEGTA) pictured at the new training facility of North Staffs Engineering Training Association in Hanley. The awards event also recognised the achievements of other apprentices which were member companies of the association.

Kevin Locke commented “It has been a pleasure working with Ashley and if he carries on with this attitude and work output he will have a fantastic future in his chosen career.”

During his apprenticeship, Ashley has shown an extraordinary application to the areas of the engineering activities that he has been involved with so far and always puts 100% into everything he is asked to do.

Grenville Engineering continues to support the need to shorten the skills gap and promote apprenticeships in partnership with NSEGTA.
